I have the Power!

October 18-19, 2012
Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
Bar Harbour, Maine, US

This blog is all about me (well, let's be honest, they kind of all are, but this one even more so).

First of all, I got to spend my whole day in Halifax with Ingrid.  How lucky am I?  Where is she now?  I don't know.  Let's just say not with me. [sad face].  And that's the number one downside of ship life.  You live with people you come to love, and then they go home.

Um, YES!

My lavender ice cream and Ingrid's lobster roll.

I mostly just wanted to put up another picture of my friend, but ducks are cool too.

Yes, please.

Ahhh, and now for the section that's all about me:
 Welcome to Duke Tower.
 It's a Tower for Duke
 Duke Tower welcomes you.
No shortage of beautiful people at Duke Tower.
At Duke Tower, you can sit on the floor, and that's normal.
At Duke Tower, you have the power (if you're Duke).
Let's all jump up in the air at Duke Tower!
And then we'll go play with the birds.

The next day, in Maine:
Without being in range of the power of Duke Tower, I feel my energy starting to ebb.  So, I do what every person with a pulse does in Bar Harbour.  I gravitate towards the lobster.
Pre Lobster

Now that I think of it, lobster only really looks like Sebastian after it's cooked.  Hmm...creepy Disney, creepy.

Post Lobster

Blueberry Ice Cream in the Cold in front of a whale.
Sometimes, your camera does funny things.  This time, my camera managed to catch the islands of Acadia National Park in focus in the back and blur everything else.  It reminds me of French impressionism.
Monet much?
